Christie's Group Exercise Classes

Christie’s “Integrative Fitness” classes are unlike any other classes you will find on the North Shore! Why? Christie has created a unique and extremely effective blend of a variety of disciplines and woven them into one class combining cardio (low impact and interval training), strengthening and sculpting (weights, resistance bands, Stott Magic Rings, ballet barre work), as well as “killer abs” (Pilates/weighted ball combo).
Of course there is plenty of stretching and a delicious 10 minute segment of yoga and meditation under comfy
blankets by candlelight at the end of each class! In fact, Christie’s classes are often called “Where East Meets West”.
Christie’s classes are enjoyed by women of all ages and levels of fitness. Whether you consider yourself an elite athlete or couch potato, Christie can and will coach you effectively and safely.
Finally, the class is particularly popular among Baby Boomers, who refuse to slow down, but need to be mindful of injury prevention. Christie’s Integrative Fitness Training is the only group exercise class in Chicago that actually includes a variety of exercises rooted in physical therapy to strengthen shoulders, abs, backs, and knees in order to build a healthy base.
